Hello Everyone,
Thanks to all who came to Venture Cocktail last month. I apologize once again for my absence, but understand that the event was a success nonetheless!
This month's event will take place at Aya once again. Details below:
June 26th, 2008, 7PM to 10PM
Web 2.0 is an oft-used term that many people do not fully understand. One of our partners, Sun Microsystems, has developed a perspective that they would like to share with early stage entrepreneurs, especially those interested in open source technologies.

The idea for Venture Cocktail was born, like many great ideas, out of an informal chat. We observed, as many of you probably have, as we sat in the lobby of the hotel hosting Red Herring's Venuture Market Europe, that some of the most exciting business gets done over chats like these - over coffee or drinks.
Greetings Everyone!
This month's meeting will take place at Aya again on April 24th, beginning at 7PM. Details below. We're looking forward to some new faces and ... the return of old friends! Hope to see you all there!

The first Venture Cocktail was a great success.

Dear All,
At this month's (March, 2008) meeting we pay tribute to one of the most impressive entrepreneurs I've met here in Switzerland. It is with great sorrow that we must say goodbye to a truly special man and an important member of our group. On March 10, 2008, Mark Fyvie lost his life in a diving accident at Ginnie Springs, Florida.
